Just finished up a thunderhead grey Stackpole with a big, fat, super comfortable neck and Lollar Vintage Blondes. My greyest guitar yet, pictured here on a rare sunny Portland day.

A nice back goes a long way. M-tone’s got that covered.

This Palomino Stackpole just rode into town with a cool new pickguard shape. Honduran mahogany + Lollar imperials = enough sustain that you can start the song and walk away while the guitar finishes up for you. Crank the overdrive, dial the tone back to zero and taste the thick, sweet molasses.
Coming soon: new “palomino” finish Stackpole. Honduran mahogany, new pickguard shape, same awesome kicking sound.
Here’s Richard Moore tickling a beautiful alder Stackpole. No, this one’s not his – Richard already has a very custom mahogany M-tone, but you can’t blame a guy for wanting to try out more guitars.
The finish on this fine new M-tone is based closely on the interior of Timmy, a well-loved 1960 VW bug. The Lollar Vintage Tweed pickups contributes to the vintage vibe. More info and photos on the For Sale page.

Silky smooth oiled alder Stackpole. Fast, articulate and fun as hell to play – hard to walk away from. Check out the details on the For Sale page.
